BROWN, Finis E.

Finis E. Brown, Bowie, died February 7, 1981, at Willcox. He was born January 27, 1899 at Paris, Texas. Mr. Brown came to Bowie from Tucson ten years ago, and had been an Arizona resident for 45 years, coming to Arizona from Ada, Oklahoma. He was a farmer by occupation. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church, Bowie, February 11, 1981, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Raymond White officiating. He is survived by six sons: Orval E. Brown, Tucson; Earvin Brown, Avondale, Arizona; Finis E. Brown, Jr., Tucson; Wade H. Brown, Bowie; John W. Brown, Sahuarita, Arizona; and three daughters: Margaret L. Wallmark, Kansas City, Missouri; Wilma v. McKinney, Tucson; and Patsy I. Murphey, Marana. He is also survived by a brother, Calvin Brown, Fittstown, Oklahoma; 25 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren. Burial was in Southlawn Memorial Park, Tucson, February 11, 1981, 2 p.m. with arrangements by Westlawn Chapel. Arizona Range News, Willcox.
