ADLING, John George


Feb. 17, 1954. Retired Farmer Passes Away. Willcox. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Willcox Chapel for John George Adling, who was found dead Saturday at his home in Dragoon. Burial was in the family cemetery in Kansas Cemetery. He was 69 years old and died of natural causes. Rev. Elbert Morford of the Methodist Church was in charge of the services and pallbearers were Henry Gillens, Neal Chambers, Clell Chambers, Gus Arzberger, Norman Kimsey and Charles Kimsey. He was born in Miltonville, Kansas, Oct. 15, 1884, and came to Kansas Settlement in 1908. He was a retired farmer. His only survivors are two nieces, Mrs. William Collier of Phoenix and Mrs. Walter Carr of Burbank, Calif. He was never married. Burial in Adling Cemetery. Douglas Daily Dispatch.
