Bowie Resident 30 Years, Arkansas Native, Is Dead Willcox — James C. Cawood, 72, a Bowie resident for 30 years, died at his home Sunday. Funeral services were held in the Bowie Community church Wednesday. Interment was in Bowie cemetery. The deceased was born in Bentonville, Ark., May 1, 1875. He came to Arizona 35 years ago and made Bowie his home five years later. He is survived by his wife, Julia; son, Morris of Bowie; daughter, Margaret Piece of Los Angeles, and two granddaughters, Margaret Helen and Virginia of Bowie. Douglas Daily Dispatch, January 23, 1947
