May 13, 1982. Requiem Mass was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 7 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Carmen A. Duncan who died May 3, in Tucson. She was 70 years old.
Mrs. Duncan was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico on Feb. 28, 1912 and moved to Arizona in 1926. She was the former owner of Rix's Tavern.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; a daughter, Jonnie Belle Bethel; two grandsons, Roger Bethel and Russell Bethel; and a great grandson, Ryan Roger Bethel, all of Willcox.
Casket bearers were Dave Harris, Ted Kortsen, Dick Ellis, Larry More, Wayne Cox and Oscar Woods. Honorary bearers were Darrell Duncan, Donnie Duncan, Marvin B. Combs, Calvin Cocke, Gerald Dabbs, and Eugene Mingus.
Burial was in Sunset Cemetery with Westlawn Chapel in charge of Arrangements. Arizona Range News, Willcox.
