YOUNG MAN DIES IN HOSPITAL HERE Richard Herman Durtchie, 26, of Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, died at 7:05 a.m. Thursday in a local hospital. He had been ill for eight days. Born June 30, 1920, in Colonia Juarez to Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Durtchie. Mr. Durtchie attended high school in his native town, where he had resided his entire life. Survivors, besides the parents, include three sisters and four brothers: Mrs. Robert Kemp of Douglas, Mrs. W. L. Perdue of Ontario, Calif., Mrs. Mary Jorgenson of Colonia Juarez, George Redd, Lamar Redd and Verle Redd of Colonia Juarez and Kenneth Redd of Pima. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Latter Day Saints church, with Bishop E. L. Stott officiating. Burial will be made in Calvary cemetery. Pall bearers will be Robert Kemp and H. J. Jorgenson and the decedent’s four brothers. Douglas Daily Dispatch January 3, 1947
