Charles Lester "Chuck" Royer, Jr., age 77, a 20-year resident of Bullhead City, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz.
He was born in San Diego, Calif., on May 6, 1933, to Charles and Elva Royer (deceased).
Chuck, a Korean War Veteran (Army), was a graduate of USC with an MBA, and had a long career in sales. He married the love of his life, June, on January 25, 1975.
He was an Honorary Member of the Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis Club to which he was a solely dedicated member. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and camper.
Chuck was a wonderful, loving husband. He dearly loved all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, June; six children, Karen (Randy) Walden, Sharon (Mike) Sloyer, Laurie Harris, John (Clara) Harris, Julie Harris, and Lynn (Roger) Neighbours; sister, Sharon Treguboff; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Amber, Jason, Marianne, Deborah, Jennifer and Kimberly; 10 great-grandchildren, Kalli, Mason, Eveie, Peyton, Steven, Lucas, Wyatt, Emily, Noah, and Titus; and two nieces, Lisa and Lori.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011, at Hope United Methodist Church, 1325 Ramar Road, Bullhead City, AZ 86442, with a reception to follow.
