The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 5, 1994, p. 2 Phyllis M. Bemis of Wickenburg died October 8 Sun City West. She was 64. Mrs. Bemis was born October 20, 1929 in Corinna, Maine. She had lived in Arizona for the past three years. Mrs. Bemis belonged to a number of organizations including the American Legion Auxiliary, Wickenburg Sewing Guild, National Grange, AARP and the Firemans Auxiliary in Maine. Survivors include daughters Rebecca Packard and Darlene Ireland; sons Charles Bemis of Brewer, Maine, and William J. Bemis of Corinna, Maine; one sister; and one brother. Graveside services will be conducted October 22 at the Village Cemetery in Corinna. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85016. Donation envelopes may be picked up at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
