The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 16, 2011 Wilma R. Smith died Jan. 29, 2011, in Payson. She was born July 8, 1924, in Fort Worth Texas. Wilma was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church, the Payson Women’s Golf Association, a former volunteer at the Hospital Auxiliary Shop and a long time resident of Overgaard before she moved to Payson. She was preceded in death by her father, B.F. Richardson II; mother Alpha Richardson; brother B.F. Richardson III; husband Reid Smith and granddaughter Kayla Floyd. Wilma is survived by her daughter, Chris Floyd (Jerry); son Wally Smith (Ruth Ann); and two grandchildren: Alan Smith and Matthew Floyd as well as other numerous extended family members. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at the First Southern Baptist Church in Payson.
