The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 18, 2011 Anthony Dewayne Hoskie of Whiteriver went into eternal rest Feb. 4, 2011, in Whiteriver. He was born Oct. 23, 1987, in Phoenix. Anthony is survived by his daughter, K'Lee Cameron Hoskie; father Herman Hoskie; mother Karen Jane Boni; sisters: Catherine Maria Hoskie, Shermalyn Hoskie; brother Chaise Yon Hoskie; grandmother Mable Boni; uncles: Robert William, Richard Perpignand, Terry Sims, Jonathan Bowman, Calvin Boni, Martin Wallen, Renkin Boni; Jonathan Hoskie, Ferlin Hoskie Sr., William Riley; Aunts: Corina William, Juanita Perpignand, Sandra Skidmore, Silva Riley, Matilda Hoskie, Loretta Hoskie; great aunts: Iretta Tayley, June Moody; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Dewayne Lewis, John Hoskie; grandfather Buddy Boni; and paternal grandmother Verna Wallen. A two-night wake was held on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at his residence in Whiteriver. A home service was held Thursday, Feb. 17, at the family residence in Whiteriver. Interment was held at the Open Range Cemetery in Cibecue. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
