The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 1, 2011 Minnie Larson Eaves Arline died Feb. 22, 2011. She was born Sept. 14, 1919, in Snowflake. Minnie attended two years of high school in Snowflake and then moved to Mesa with her family and attended Mesa High School where she met and married Carl Eaves. She is survived by her sons: Doug (Glenna) Eaves, Phil (Carol) Eaves; daughter Janet (Glen) Ellsworth; 19 grandchildren and 69 great-grandchildren. Minnie was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various church positions and also, served a mission in Denver with her second husband, Kenneth Arline. She was preceded in death by her sons: Larry and Fred Eaves, and her husbands. A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 North MacDonald in Mesa. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, March 4, at the Crosspoint Ward Building (Val Vista and Adobe) in Mesa with a viewing one hour prior to services. Arrangement were handled by Meldrum Mortuary of Mesa.
