The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 25, 2011 Rex Dale, 46, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, in Flagstaff with many of his family members at his side. Rex was born Sept. 21, 1964, in Winslow to the late David H. Dale and Theresa (Webster) Dale. Rex was a loving father, brother and uncle who enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, sports and being with his friends. He served in the U.S. Army from 1983 to 1989 and was stationed in South Carolina and Germany. Rex is survived by his two children: Kathleen Dale and Elijah Dale; mother Theresa Dale; eight brothers and sisters: Danny (Maggie) Dale, David (Serita) Dale, Jr., Lee Dale, Susie Benton, June Joe, Katie (Pete) Terry, Doris (John) Yazzie and Sandra G. Dale; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son Cory Dale; father David H. Dale; four brothers: Marshall Dale, Rusty Dale, Richard Dale and Lucky Dale. Funeral mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 212 E. Arizona in Holbrook. The committal service and interment will follow at the Holbrook Cemetery under the care of Owens Livingston Mortuary Holbrook. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled arrangements.
