Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, March 02, 2011 Shirley Esther Shearer-Johnson passed from this world on Oct. 28, 2010 at the St. Joseph Medical Centre in Houston, Texas, at the age of 77. She was born Oct. 5, 1933. She leaves to carry her memory daughters, Karen Johnson-Maloff of Cowley, Alberta, Canada, Denise Hurd of Houston, Texas, Donna (James) Hurd-Benoit of Strathcona County, Alberta, Canada; sons, Tommy Johnson and Andrew Johnson, both of Albuquerque, N.M., 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her mother, Sylvia Hunt; her sisters, Dorothy Cook and Yvonne Nemmers; and her infant son, Johnny Hurd. Shirley and her family made Globe their home for many years. She graduated from Globe High School in 1951.
