Mary Elizabeth Kinvig, 89, died peacefully Jan. 24, 2011. She was born April 23, 1921, in Winslow, and was a longtime resident of Flagstaff and Sedona.
She and her husband owned The Print Shop in Flagstaff for more than 30 years before retiring to Sedona. She was active in Flagstaff in the Federated Community Church, Eastern Star, Soroptimist Club, Symphony Guild. After moving to Sedona, she remained active in the Oak Creek Country Club, the Sedona Symphony Guild, the Church of the Red Rocks, and the PEO-CM Chapter. In both Flagstaff and Sedona, she also enjoyed participating in several bridge clubs.
Mrs. Kinvig is survived by her daughters, Jane Pearson (Bill), Kristin Thies (Steve) and Elizabeth Lopez (Joe); six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Alan John Kinvig.
The family will hold a private ceremony.
