BASS, Edward J., Jr.

Edward J. Bass, Jr., 65, of Phoenix, a retired Navy veteran with 20 years of service and an employee of the U. S. Postal Service, died Oct. 30, 1987, in Phoenix.  

He was born in Willimantio, Connecticut.  

Survivors include his wife, Helen Mary; son, Edward IV; stepson, Joseph Lanzu; a sister; and a brother.  

Friends may call Tuesday or Wednesday, with rosary at Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave.  Mass was Thursday at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, 3424 N. 18th Ave.
