27 March 1907 - 28 October 1987 John A. Knipscher, 80, of Highland Mills, N. Y., a former Phoenix resident, died Oct. 28, 1987, in Winterton, N. Y. He was born in New York City and was a mechanic for J. T. Jenkins in Phoenix. Survivors include a son, Gerard A.; and a step-granddaughter. Services were Saturday, with arrangements by Green Acres Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patricks Villa, Hariman, N. Y., 10926. The Arizona Republic, Sunday, 1 November 1987.
