MEYERS, Ruth

Ruth Meyers, 86, of Phoenix, the former owner of House of Notions Variety Store in Phoenix and a retired real estate agent for Clement’s Realty, died Oct. 30, 1987, in Phoenix.  

She was born in Durant, Oklahoma.  She also taught home economics at Glendale High School.  

Survivors include a daughter, Wilda Ruth Russell; sister, Helen S. Staples; and a granddaughter.  

Private services will be held Tuesday, with arrangements by Grimshaw Bethany Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
