Richard Donald Evanston passed away on Feb. 15, 2011. Richard was born on June 9, 1966. He has two children named Jayme Mileylyn Johnson age 3 and Michael Jeremy Evanston age 21 months old.
He was a very hard-working man. No matter what he had to do, he did it to make sure that his children never went without. There were many jobs that Richie was extremely talented at.
He was a devoted, loving, caring father. I recall that I could call him and no matter the time of the day to let him know if his children needed anything and he would be right there ready to do what he had to do to provide for them. He called his daughter Jayme "Baby Jayme." His baby girl was and is his pride and joy, he loved her so much there was nothing that he would not do for her. When it was just the two of them, they were in their own little world, he was so proud of her.
Then there was his son, Michael Jeremy Evanston. Richie was also very proud of his son, his baby boy. He would say that he was going to teach him how to be a man, that he was going to show him how to get up and get ready for work to get the things that they needed.
How to be respectful and help out their mother and also not to be lazy. He had a connection with him like fathers and sons do. He was always getting them toys, candy and he enjoyed playing with his kids and seeing them smile as for him and I, we both had our own issues.
We had our share of problems but we had good times also. There was once upon a time that we loved each other I am glad to say and acknowledge that Richie was a part of my life and will always be as well as our children's hearts. I will make sure that our kids will always remember him and always know and keep their father's memory dear to their hearts and to never forget how much he loved and cared for them.
