Della Marie Wolfe, 50, passed away Feb.21, 2011, in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born June 6, 1960, in Ganado, Ariz., to Henry Haven Sr. and Marie Haven. Clans: Honaghaahnii; Born for: Todich’il’nii; Nali is: Tachiinii; and Chei is: Ma’iideeshgiizhnii. She graduated from Shiloh Christian High School in Georgia. She attended John Brown University in Arkansas and Bryan College in Tennessee. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona, Tucson; and Master’s degree from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff. Della was a primary teacher in Chinle Public Schools, Chinle, Ariz. She was a kindergarten teacher at Le Pera Elementary School, in Poston. She is survived by husband, James Daniel Wolfe, of Poston; children, Christopher Morgan, of Chinle; Charity Dedman, Many Farms, Ariz.; Emerald Morgan, of Phoenix; grandchildren, Noelle Dedman, Chloe Morgan; siblings, Henry Haven Jr., Ronald Haven, Martin Haven, all of Window Rock, Ariz.; Shaun Haven, Alfonso Haven, Cecilia Benally, all of Chinle; Henrietta Haven, of Red Mesa, Ariz., Marietta Nevayaktewa, Cheryl Harry, both of Farmington, NM; and parents, Henry Haven Sr. and Marie Haven. Preceding her in death were grandparents, Tulley and Hazel Cornfields. Services were held Feb. 25, at Chinle Potter’s House. Serving as pallbearers were: Michael Suarez, Denver Benally, Ryan Nevayaktewa, Derek Benally, Elijah Haven and Merle Yazzie. Burial was at the Chinle Community Cemetery.
