The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, February 25, 2011 Pedro Porras Saenz, 78, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., born June 18, 1932, in Indio, Calif., died Feb. 24, 2011, in Prescott, Ariz. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at Sunrise Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley. Sunrise Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements. ~~~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, February 28, 2011 Pedro "Pete" Saenz, 78, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., born June 18, 1932, went to be with his Lord on Feb. 24, 2011. Pete is survived by Martha, his beautiful bride of 58 years; his sons, Ruben, Ronald, Peter and Paul (Martha) Saenz; daughters, Virginia (Ruben) Madrid, Eliza (Andrew) Griest and Lydia Saenz. He leaves behind 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rosalie Jacquez, Connie Rangel and Vicky Garcia; two brothers, Jesus and Richard Saenz. Pete was preceded in death by his two children, David H. Saenz and Mary Alice "Missy" Saenz. Pete retired from the City of Prescott after many years of working. He was a hard-working, dedicated man who was very proud of his family. He will be forever missed but never forgotten. He has blessed us all with many stories and lots of love and kindness. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. He will be laid to rest at Heritage Memorial Cemetery.
