HUARD, George (Ray), Jr.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, February 26, 2011 George "Ray" Huard Jr., 86, died Feb. 20, 2011, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Ray was born June 26, 1924, in Dearborn, Mich., the son of George Sr. and Viola Huard. He had a brilliant mind and retired as a design engineer in the electronics industry in Palo Alto, Calif. Ray enjoyed writing and golfing. He was an environmentalist and enjoyed keeping current on the latest environmental issues. The photo shown above reflects the happier times of Ray dancing with his great-grandniece Sarah. Ray is survived by his brothers, Donald (Margaret) Huard of Prescott Valley, Richard (Marge) Huard of Dearborn, Mich., and Kenneth Huard of Phoenix; and sisters Shirley (Joseph) Sweeney of Placentia, Calif., and Mary Schmidt of Anaheim, Calif.
