The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 4, 2011 Eric Rista, 65, of Eagar died Feb. 21, 2011, of cancer. He was born Oct. 19, 1945, in Mt. Vernon, NY. He has resided in Eagar for the past three years. Eric was a gentle caring man who loved animals and very few people. He is survived by his girlfriend Darnell, sister Ellen of N. J. and Bill Peterson of N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents. No services are planned.
