The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 4, 2011 Jacquelyn R. Narkey Cavalliero Jacquelyn R. Cavalliero, 62, of Overgaard died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at her home. She was born June 29, 1948, in Youngstown, Ohio to Frank and Martha Narkey. She was raised in Youngstown, graduating from Liberty High School in 1966. She attended CAC and Arizona State University. In the ‘80s she worked as a charge nurse for the prison in Florence, then returned to school and received her masters degree from ASU. She taught at Carl Hayden High School for 13 years, retiring in 2010 and moving to Overgaard eight months ago. She regularly visited the senior center and had plans to open a thrift store in Overgaard. She loved her grandkids, and had helped her mother tremendously following her father's death. Survivors include a daughter, Erika Huffman-Friedman (Bruce) of Scottsdale; two sons: Derek Huffman of Queen Creek and Sandor Garnet (Stephanie) of Show Low; mother, Martha Narkey of Mesa; sister, Bonnie Bustamante (Andy) of Maricopa; five grandchildren: Edward Huffman, Sophie, Sarah and Summerlin Friedman and Emily Garnet, and one near arrival, Kambria Garnet.
