The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Saturday, February 26, 2011 Gerald L. Adams 1925 - 2011 Gerald L. Adams, 86 of Camp Verde , passed away on February 19, 2011 in Cottonwood. He was born on November 18, 1925 in Arapahoe, Wyoming to Ralph and Naida Adams. Gerald attended Riverton High school and joined the Army in WWII as Private First Class. He worked as an independent truck driver and in an occupation force in Japan. Gerald enjoyed fishing and hunting. Gerald is preceded in death by his personal friend Lena French. He is survived by sons Dan Adams (Jackie) of Colorado, Larry Adams (Nancy) of Colorado, Mike Adams (Linda) of Wyoming; daughter Janet Jensen of Wyoming; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
