The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 2, 1994, p. 2 Herbert F. Grey, Sr. of Congress died October 27 at his home in Congress. He was 65. Mr. Grey was born June 3, 1929 in Durango, Colorado. He had lived in Arizona for the past six years, coming from Colorado. Mr. Grey was a miner, a heavy equipment operator and then a builder. He was a member and past president of the Congress/Wickenburg Kiwanis Club. Tenderfoot Park in Congress was the focal point of Mr. Grey’s life over the past six years. He loved hunting and fishing and the outdoors. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, patty; sons and daughters-in-law Herbert F. Jr. and Joyce A. Grey of Grand Junction, Colorado and Phillip R. and Thelma M. Grey of Kileen, Texas; grandchildren Melissa Marie of Congress, Jennifer Patty of Colorado, Anthony Roland of Texas and Charity Jude of Texas; great-grandson Johnathon H. Grey of Colorado nine sisters; and one brother. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday (November 3) at Tenderfoot Park in Congress. Pastor Bob Harrison will officiate.
