The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 2, 1994, p. 2 Charles W. “Bud” Robertson of Wickenburg died October 28 in Wickenburg. He was 75. Mr. Robertson was born April 1, 1919 in Napa, California. He had lived in Arizona for 12 years, coming from California. Mr. Robertson was retired from the military after a 35-year career, and later from Civil Service. He was a member of the U.S. Army, the U.S. Naval Reserve, the U.S. Army Reserve and the Army National Guard. He also worked as a mechanic at Ft. Irwin, California. Mr. Robertson was a member of American Legion Kellis Draper Post No. 12, Wickenburg Elks Lodge BPOE No. 2160, and the 40 and 8 Club. He was also a past commander of the American Legion Post No. 104 in Vallejo, California. Mr. Robertson enjoyed music, playing the organ, and also enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and photography. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Trudi and Anthony Hill of Wickenburg; brothers, Earl Robertson of Gig Harbor, Washington and Donald Robertson of Grass Valley, California and grandchildren Dennis Hill of San Francisco and Jason Hill of Phoenix. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. (Thursday, November 3) at the Frey Funeral Home. Members of American Legion Kellis Draper Post No., 12 in Wickenburg will officiate. Memorial Contributions in Mr. Robertson’s name may be made to American Legion Kellis Draper Post No. 12 Scholarship Fund, 176 Frontier St., Wickenburg, AZ 85390, or Wickenburg Regional health Care Foundation, Wickenburg Community Hospital, P.O. Box 1388, Wickenburg, AZ 85358. Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
