The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 16, 1994, p. 2 James A. Donohue of Phoenix died October 30 in Wittmann. He was 68. Mr. Donohue was born June 26, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He had lived in Arizona for the past 14 years, coming from Oklahoma. Mr. Donohue served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He later worked in research and development for various chemical companies over the years. Following his retirement, Mr. Donohue worked part-time as a security guard in Phoenix. He enjoyed hiking the mountains and in the desert in the Wittmann, Morristown and Wickenburg areas. Survivors include his daughters Elaine McCoy, Theresa Walker and Debbie Davis, all of Oklahoma and Jane Daniels of Wittmann; sons James Jr. of Texas, John of Indiana and Joseph and Robert of Oklahoma; and brothers Randy and David of Texas. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday (November 17) at White Tanks Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
