The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 16, 1994, p. 2 Ethel M. Nicholson of Phoenix died November 9 in Phoenix. She was 89. Mrs. Nicholson was born November 23, 1904 in England. She had lived in Arizona for the past 39 years. Mrs. Nicholson did painting and beadwork as a hobby and her work was displayed at the Hallmark store in Wickenburg when she and her late husband Bjorn lived in the community. Bjorn Nicholson preceded Ethel Nicholson in death in 1986. The couple was married for 52 years. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Judy and Steven Motch of Phoenix; grandsons Jack Bjorn and Jeffrey W. Motch; and great-grandson Khamen Alexander Motch. Private cremation was conducted. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all arrangements.
