Jesse E. Holleman, 86, of Boise, Idaho and a former Wickenburg resident, died November 27 in Boise.
Mr. Holleman was born September 2, 1908 in Boles, Arkansas. He lived in Arizona 17 years before moving to Boise.
Mr. Holleman grew up in Arkansas before moving to Oklahoma as a young man. He married Louise McCarty in Chico, California and she died in 1953. In 1954 he married Ruth Rolison who passed away in 1984. Mr. Holleman lived in California until 1975, when he moved to Wickenburg. He moved to Idaho about a year-and-half ago to be close to his family.
He worked for many years on a road construction crew and did many jobs, including operating a Cat and a road mix machine. He retired in 1964 due to a disability.
He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Congress.
Survivors include four children, Joyce Goff and husband Neal of Caldwell, Idaho, David Holleman and wife Sherill of Central Valley, California, Susan Wentworth of Sand Hollow, Idaho and Larry Rolison and wife Peggy of Villa Park, California; four sisters; five brothers, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 1 at the Wickenburg Cemetery. Pastor George Thornton will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Southern Baptist Church, 912 West Linden, Caldwell, Idaho 83606.
All arrangements were handled by Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home with the help of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.
