The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 30, 1994, p. 2 Josephine Pemberton, 73, of Wickenburg, died November 28 in Phoenix. Mrs. Pemberton was born May 7, 1921 in Flagstaff. She was a lifelong resident of Arizona. Mrs. Pemberton had lived in Wickenburg most of her life and for a time worked at the Bustle dress shop. She and her husband, Dwight, who survives her, owned and operated the La Cabana Tavern for 41 years. She was also a seamstress and made her husband’s and children’s clothes when they were young. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Dwight L. Pemberton; three sons, Douglas of Yuma, John of Prescott and Dwight J. of Prescott Valley; a daughter, Cheri Goodman of Glendale; four brothers; three sisters; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, December 3 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Wickenburg. Fr. Mathew Mampara and Fr. David Sharp will officiate. Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg handled all arrangements.
