Richard O. Beverlin of Wickenburg died November 30 at Del Webb Memorial Hospital in Sun City West. He was 71.
Mr. Beverlin was born March 16 1923 in Longton, Kansas. He had lived in Arizona for the past 13 years.
Mr. Beverlin was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and during his life worked as a cowboy, garage service manager and a retired caretaker for a local estate in Wickenburg. He also was an avid gardener.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen A. Beverlin of Wickenburg; daughters Karen Scruggs of Columbia, California and Laura Dillon of Las Vegas, Nevada; step-daughters Barbara Burden of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lynn Burden of Flagstaff and Mary Ferguson of Dinwall, Scotland; sister Peg Naddeo of San Bernardino, California; several aunts, uncles and cousins and six grandchildren.
No services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Beverlin’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all arrangements.
