George Earl Billings of Phoenix and formerly of Wickenburg died November 28 in Phoenix. He was 76.
Mr. Billings was born July 16, 1918 in Rock Falls, Illinois. He had lived in Arizona for 45 years, coming from Illinois.
Mr. Billings was a janitor and bus driver for two area school districts. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
M. Billings enjoyed people, riding and rock collecting in the desert.
Survivors include daughters Karen Joyce Billings Reinhart of Monroeville, Pennsylvania, and Jean Sue Billings of Wickenburg; son Terry Lee of Pelham, New York; sisters Loretta Baton of Hendersonville, North Carolina and Janet Love of Sterling, Illinois; grandchildren Michael A. Love of Chicago and Nichole A. Reinhart of Monroeville, Pennsylvania; and great-grandchildren Carl E. Jr. and Robert A. Reinhart. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Carl E. Reinhart, in June 1994.
Services were Friday, December 2 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Billings name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Frey Funeral Home of Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
