The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 7, 1994, p. 2 Richard O. Chambers of Glendale died December 1 at his home in Glendale. He was 73. Mr. Chambers was born September 12, 1921 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He had lived in Arizona for the past 32 years. Mr. Chambers was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He worked as a park ranger for the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department from 1963 to 1986. He also was employed at the Ben Avery Shooting Range near Phoenix. Survivors include his son Lt. Cmdr. Todd Chambers of Yuba City, California; daughters Leslie and Mari Chambers of Norfolk, Virginia; his former wife, Jean Chambers King; and a sister, Rhonda Lewis of Wickenburg. Private cremation and inurnment will take place at a later date. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all arrangements.
