The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 7, 1994, p. 2 Cynthia Violet Richardson of Congress died December 4 in Congress. She was 95. Mrs. Richardson was born February 7, 1899 in Williford, Arkansas. She had just recently moved to Arizona from California. Mrs. Richardson was a homemaker and housewife. She enjoyed cooking, baking and quilt making. She was known and will be remembered by all her grandchildren as “Nanny”. Mrs. Richardson was a member of the Baptist Church in Arkansas. She is survived by her daughters Mary Brickman of Congress and Ruby Vaughn of Missouri; son Rudolph Richardson of Missouri; granddaughter Diana Yoder of Congress and eight other grandchildren throughout the U.S.; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lee in 1960. Funeral services are scheduled Friday (December 9) in Paragould, Arkansas. Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
