The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 14, 1994, p. 2 John O. Hawkins of Hillside died December 10 in an accident on the family ranch near Hillside. He was 17. Mr. Hawkins was born July 29, 1977 in Bagdad. He was a lifelong resident of Arizona. He was a senior at Hillside Bible Academy and a member of Hillside Community Center. Mr. Hawkins was described by his parents as a model teenager who enjoyed working as a cowboy and always had a rope in his hand. He liked Marty Robbins and enjoyed singing along to his music. Survivors include his parents, Donald L. Hawkins of Hillside and Linda Hawkins Draut of Dewey; sisters Luann Coker of Phoenix and Barbara Hawkins of Dewey; and one niece. Memorial services are schedule d at 2 p.m. Thursday (December 15) at Hillside Community Church. Pastor Galen Neshem will officiate. Private burial will fowl in the Congress Cemetery.
