Alice Rose Willetts of Denver, and a winter resident of Wickenburg, died November 14 at Sunny Acres Retirement Center. She was 83.
Mrs. Willetts was born February 18, 1911, the daughter of G.A. and Alice Lazier of Lindenwood, Illinois.
She married Allen B. Willetts on June 16, 1936.
Alice and Allen Willetts were winter residents of Wickenburg for 12 years and attended the First Presbysterian Church of Wickenburg.
Mrs. Willetts taught in the Rochelle, Illinois elementary school system for 18 years. She was a member of the Rochelle United Methodist Church, Rochelle Women’s Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Retired Teachers, and Ogle County Home Extension.
Survivors include her husband Allen of Denver; sons David and his wife Nancy of Little, Colorado and Don and his wife Sandra of Sylvania, Ohio; two grandsons and two granddaughters; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
A memorial service was held December 10 at the Rochelle, Illinois United Methodist Church.
