HEARRING, James Laverne

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 28, 1994, p. 2 James Laverne Hearring of Wickenburg died December 16 in Wickenburg. He was 69. Mr. Hearring was born December 25, 1924 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. He had lived in Arizona for the past eight years. Mr. Hearring was an officer in American Legion Post No. 4008 and was a very active member. He helped with the post newsletter and other duties. He was also a member of Wickenburg Elks Lodge No. 2160. He enjoyed working with computers and watching football. Survivors include daughters Penny Schmidt of Houston, Susan Knapp of Arlington, Vermont and Cindy Boyle of Brookfield, Wisconsin; sons James Charles Hearring of St. Louis and Steven Allen Hearring of Yuma; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous cousins. Mr. Hearring was preceded in death by his wife Ruby. Private services and burial were already conducted. Memorial contributions in Mr. Hearring’s name may be made to the Arizona Lung Association, 102 W. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, 85003. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all arrangements.
