Leonard (Lenny) Russo passed away Jan 8, 2004. He is survived by His wife Peggy, 3 children - Rosemary, Chuck and Georgette (Jett), 6 Grandchildren - Jeff, Mark, Brian, Ashlee, Michael and Emilee; Nephew Vincent DiJulio and Niece Claire Marzullo and a very large extended family from AZ., OK., TN., KA., TX., WA., NJ., OH., AR., IL., CO., CA. Where do we begin to touch on the life of this amazing man. He is loved by everybody. His friends were all ages and from all walks of life. He loved his Tuesday night poker at Jimmy Fauci's - his Sunday's at the track with Ashlee and Michael - betting on his good friend Frank Covello's horses. He made weekly trips to the toy store with Emilee. He knew more about Barbie's, Sponge Bob and Nickelodeon then most 6 year olds. Pop's was the original energizer bunny. He kept going, going, going...and now he's partying with his good friend Joe English, who passed away the day after Christmas. He managed McFarland Carpet for his friend of fifty years, Mike Manguso, till his death. Come join us in celebrating his life with a good old fashioned Italian wake at Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home - 4800 E Indian School on Monday Jan 12th and Tuesday Jan 13th, 2004.
