Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Published Thursday, March 10, 2011 - Anida Ault Klaas passed away on Sunday March 6, 2011 at her residence in Lake Havasu City at the age of 92. Anida was born on April 20, 1918 in Grand Junction, CO to Norman and Ida (Slocomb) Ault. Anida grew up in Grand Junction, graduating from high school in 1936. She then attended Mesa college in Grand Junction taking courses in nurses training. She was employed at the International Union of Operating Engineers in Grand Junction for 12 years before moving to Lake Havasu City in 1976. Anida became an active member of Grace Episcopal Church in Lake Havasu City. She was alos very active in her exercise group known as “the muffin gang”, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Epsilon Sigman Alpha Sorority, the Western Welcome Club, Eagles Aerie #4299 and Elkettes. Anida is survived by her daughter Caryl Sue Rambolt and her husband Richard of Chandler, AZ; nephew Keith Ault of Lake Havasu City; grandchildren Sandy, Michelle, Marchelle and Mitch and great grandchildren Kyra, Meriah, Mallory and Zac. Memorial services will be held on Saturday March 12, 2011 at 10:00 am at Grace Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in the Grace Episcopal Columbarium. In lieu flowers, donations may be made in Anida’s name to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
