Dorothy McMahon, 95, died Friday, March 4, 2011, at the Beehive Home in Eagar where she had resided for three years. Dorothy was born July 23, 1915, in Des Moines, Iowa the twin daughter of Grover and Martha Jansing. She married John McMahon in 1939 in Chicago.

Dorothy is survived by sons: Robert McMahon of Calif., and Richard McMahon of Texas; daughter Shirley Olszewski of Illinois; and brother Gene Jansing of Eagar.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John McMahon (1986), her parents, and twin sister Margerite Croy.

Dorothy will be buried at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Calumet City, Ill., a suburb of Chicago.
