Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, Arizona - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from March 11 to March 18, 2011 - William David Heed, age, 72, a 30-year resident of Laughlin, Nev., died Monday, March 7, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was born on February 1, 1939 in Allentown, Pa. William was retired after 25 years of working at The Riverside in Laughlin, Nev. He will be remembered and love by many. He is survived by his four children, Susan L. Heed of Front Royal, Va., Robert C. Heed of Golden Valley, Ariz., Michelle L. Heed of E. Amherst, N.Y., and Alexander J. Heed of Las Vegas, Nev; his sister, Gail Freeman; and five grandsons. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011, at St. Rose Dominican Chapel, 8280 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, Nev. Celebration of life immediately following.
