FOSTER, Harry Leonard


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 4, 1995, p. 2 Harry Leonard Foster of Wickenburg, died December 31 in Wickenburg. He was 87. Mr. Foster was born November 19, 1907 in Kansas City, Kansas. He had lived in Arizona for 51 years, moving here from Colorado. Mr. Foster was raised in Campo, Colorado moving to Arizona in 1943. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for some 43 years, as a section foreman. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Pauline, of Wickenburg; four daughters, Virginia Brown of Kingman, Marge Wellman of Phoenix, Dorothy Patterson of Prescott and Judy Shoup of Wickenburg; two sons, Donald Foster of Rialto, California and Charles Foster of Prescott; nine grandchildren; 22 step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 23 step-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, January 4) at Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott. Rev. Robert Smith will officiate. Memorial contributions in Mr. Foster’s name may be made to Sonlight Christian Fellowship, P. O. Box 787, Wickenburg, AZ 85358. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all arrangements.
