CRISP, Aubrey Winston

Odessa (TX) American Sunday, March 6, 2011 Aubrey Winston Crisp, age 81, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011, at Hospice House in Odessa. He was born June 18, 1929, to Melvin Jackson and Lucy (Gentry) Crisp in Bay City, TX. He married Hazel Maxine Foster on January 2, 1950, in Carlsbad, NM. He was a member of the Asbestos Workers Union Local 66 and worked in commercial and industrial insulation his entire career. He was also a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his son, David Crisp. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Crisp of Odessa; son, Alton Crisp of Dallas, TX; daughters, Cynthia Turner and husband, Mike of Dallas, TX; and Susan Kay Crisp of Wickenburg, AZ; brother, Levern "Bob" Huskey of Kermit, TX; sisters, Frankie Sue Hartman and husband David of Lubbock, TX; and Pauline Huskey of Dallas, TX; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive visitors from 7:00 to 9:00pm on Monday, March 7, 2011, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Crescent Park Baptist Church with David Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
