JOHNSON, Diane

Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory Wickenburg, Arizona Diane Johnson was born March 16, 1945 in Phoenix, Arizona to Lloyd Glen Blanton and Dortha Perkins Blanton. She was raised Sedona and attended schools in Jerome and later attended Northern Arizona University. She married James "Butch" Johnson in 1965 and they lived in various locations with Butch working as a cowboy. They lived for several years in Williams, Arizona but primarily spent most of their lives in the Wickenburg-Aguila area. Diane was an avid gardener and could grow just about anything. She enjoyed raising her chickens and was a good fisherman. She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints and enjoyed attending church. She was preceded in death by a grandson James Lloyd Hammond in 1991. Diane is survived by her husband Butch Johnson of Aguila, Children: Tuffy Johnson of Flagstaff, Nancy Hammond of Aguila, Quentin Johnson of Flagstaff, Brenda Johnson of Congress, Jack Johnson of Congress and Sherman Johnson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Wayne, Scott and Brandon Johnson, Michael & Crystal Hammond, Kelly, Jacob and Jennifer Johnson and one great-grandchild, Natalie Mae Hammond. Funeral Services are tentatively set for Monday, March 21st at Wickenburg Funeral Home.
