Mary E. Lee, 43, of Colonial Beach, formerly of New River, Ariz., died at her home Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, after a long illness. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, she graduated from King George High School and was an oracle instructor for Greenbriar & Russell in Schomburg, Ill. Survivors include her husband, Ed Lee of Colonial Beach; a son, Tom Lee of Colonial Beach; her parents, John and Margie Farrell of Cornville, Ariz.; her father, Truman White of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters and their husbands, Marilyn and Tim Hedges of Chesapeake, Maurine and Curtis Thomas of Virginia Beach, and Melanie and Mike Vaughn of New River, Ariz.; and her brother and his wife, Truman White Jr. and Laura White of Myersville, Maryland. Mary had been active with the Boy Scouts of America in Virginia and in Arizona. She was an avid horseback rider and an amateur horse trainer. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
