The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 18, 1995, p. 2 Nelson Brazie of Yarnell, died January 14 in Wickenburg. He was 75. Mr. Brazie was born December 8, 1919 in Berea, Ohio. He had lived in Arizona for the past 40 years, coming from Ohio. Mr. Brazie moved to Arizona in 1955, and had lived in Yarnell for the last 16 years. Mr. Brazie was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a clerk and surveyor for the courthouse. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Arthritis Association and the National Law Enforcement Officers Association. He was also a member of the American Legion Citizens Flag Honor Guard, the American Veterans Associations and the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include three daughters, Darlene Ann Brazie of Acworth, Georgia, Joyce Morris of Pennsylvania and Gloria Balon of California; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private cremation services have been held. Memorial contributions in Mr. Brazie’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg handled all arrangements.
