JOHNSTON, Wayne Newel

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 18, 1995, p. 2 Wayne Newel Johnston of Congress, died January 16 in Congress. He was 74. Mr. Johnston was born November 29, 1920 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He had lived in Arizona for eight years, coming from Washington state. Mr. Johnston was a machinist for Boeing Aircraft. He was a member of the Wickenburg Camera Club, and he also enjoyed artistry and painting. He and his companion, Ailene Cusick, enjoyed reading and then spending time discussing together what they had read. He is survived by his companion Ailene Cusick of Congress; her children, Barbara Riggens of Camp Verde, Yvonne Simmermon of Kent, Washington and Ivan Cusick of Auburn, Washington; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Private services will be conducted. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
