Raymond McCoy of Salome died January 25 in Phoenix. He was 76.
Mr. McCoy was born March 1, 1918 in New York, New York. He had lived in Arizona for the past 19 years, coming here from Florida.
Mr. McCoy was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving during World War II. He was a member of the VFW and Moose Lodge. Mr. McCoy worked as a salesman in the building materials business, and after leaving the construction field moved to Florida. He and his wife then traveled across the country, settling down for periods of time and working in towns they enjoyed.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Joan Marie of Phoenix; daughter Pat Juss of New Milford, Connecticut; son Dennis Mc Coy of France; grandchildren Vincent McCoy, Bob Juss, Raymond Juss and Cindy Kenney; and great-grandchildren Nicole, Amanda, Melanie and Allison.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in Connecticut.
