The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 1, 1995, p. 2 Robert A. “Rob” Ripley of Morristown died January 27 in Prescott. He was 71. Mr. Ripley was born January 27, 1924 in Brownsville, New York. He had lived in Arizona for the past 42 years, coming here from New York. Mr. Ripley was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II from 1942–1945. He was a member of the American Legion and lifetime member of the VFW. Mr. Ripley worked as a truck driver for Conway Trucking in Peoria. He lived in the Wickenburg area for the past 10 years, moving here from Phoenix. He enjoyed the desert and traveling. Survivors include his daughters Barbara Hines, Linda David and Bonita Reid, all of Tempe; brother, Charles F. “chuck” Ripley of Olean, New York and grandchildren Amy and Billy Hines, and Morriss Davis, all of Tempe. Private services will be conducted at a later date. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
