Emil D’Roman of Phoenix, formerly of Aguila, died January 26 in Phoenix. He was 56.
Mr. D’Roman was born March 22, 1938 in Pitesi, Rumania. He had lived in Arizona for the past 17 years, coming here from Rumania.
Mr. D’Roman was an X-ray technician in area hospitals. He enjoyed gardening and cooking native Rumanian dishes. He also enjoyed hiking in the desert in the Aguila and Wickenburg areas, often climbing Turtleback Mountain.
Survivors include daughters Speranta Klees of Phoenix and Romanita Iliescu of Rumania; and sons Felix Dumitrache of Phoenix and Robert Dumitrache of Aguila.
Private family services will be held.
Memorial contributions in Mr. D’Roman’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
