The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 8, 1995, p. 2 James Walter Burrell of Mountain Home, Idaho, and a winter resident of Wickenburg, died February 2 in Wickenburg. He was 75. Mr. Burrell was born June 22, 1919 in Rocky Ford, Colorado. He had been in Wickenburg for four months prior to his death, coming from Idaho. He and his wife had wintered in Wickenburg for the last three years. Mr. Burrell worked selling seeds the majority of his life. He also owned a nursery prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, camping, traveling and working with wood. Survivors include his wife Helen Burrell of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Wickenburg; daughter Mary Lois Smith of Mountain Home; brothers Jerry A. Burrell of Sun City and Bill Burrell of Rocky Ford, Colorado; sister Bernita Driscoll of La Junta, Colorado; grandchildren James Fielder of Anchorage, Alaska, Sharon Lehto of Livingston, Montana, Doug Grasmisk of Boise, Idaho, Kent Grasmisk of California and Brad Grasmisk of Anchorage. Services will be held in Idaho at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
